@hazardwarning I’ve seen some articles about that — it seems that some of the stuff can work, but it requires being pretty strict about following rules on when you go to bed and that sort of thing. I’ll see if I can find a link.

They hadn’t finished working on the car when I rang this afternoon, so I told them I didn’t need them to rush; I’ll pick it up tomorrow. I don’t think there’s anything wrong, just a major service, and a busy time of year. It’s really not doing badly for 19 years old. (Just over 50K miles now.)
As usual, they gave me a diesel courtesy car, so I’ll be amazed how smooth and quiet ours is when I get it back.
