@kdfrawg I did a thoroughly authentic version once, but decided it wasn’t quite worth that. What I do now is somewhat simplified. Hugely easier, and almost as good.

Yes, 30+ isn’t really cassoulet weather. I’m afraid I don’t think I’ll be carrying tins of food around with me.

Even if they have a spouse who isn’t going to France?

Everyone has ”make cassoulet“ on their last minute jobs before going away list, don’t they?

I’m not sure if my father ever reads his email any more, but there are a few accounts that use it, so it’ll involve a bit of work to switch him over to a new address.

Maybe they didn’t reach Japan. Sometime in the 80s or 90s Demon were one of the big ISPs over here. Since then they’ve been bought and sold a few times & they’re now part of Vodafone. Who’ve decided it’s a good idea to scrap all their customers’ decades old email addresses.

Yay Vodafone! Great idea to upgrade your service to my father by getting rid of his Demon email address.

I don’t know that I’ve seen anyone playing it yet. Of course, loads of people wander round staring at their phones & waving them around anyway, so it could be that I just didn’t notice.

I meant, are the fun times on your way home?

On the way home?
