@peemee Yes. I don’t go there either.

@streakmachine Some people like it. The problem for me is that there’s no way to sort through the noise. You just get all of the posts. I was in one group with only half a dozen people, and that wasn’t too bad, but with more than that it was hopeless. If you’re using it for a very specific task, so the posts are all related or effectively part of a single conversation, it could work.
I tried to delete it, but all you can do is remove yourself from any groups you’ve joined. The account doesn’t go away.
@streakmachine It’s horrid and as far as I can tell, you can’t delete your account.
@joanna He likes it there. The staff and customers tend to make a big fuss of him. One time he even met one of his friends in there.

@joanna Thank you. I got cross with a Genius about this a month or so ago. I booked an appointment & filled in the form, saying I needed a new battery. When I turned up, the Genius said, “You need a new battery. We don’t do them any more.” I asked why they couldn’t have saved us all the time and bother by letting me know that before I trekked into the shop & he said it’s because they’re too busy. Still B always enjoys visiting the Apple shop.
