@kdfrawg My mother said his breathing was better yesterday.
He’s going to be seen by a speech therapist today — apparently they deal with swallowing as well as with talking. The hospital put him on “nil by mouth” because he was choking on his drinks. He does a bit better with solids than with liquids, but in any case, I hope they’ll be able to let him eat again. Stomach tubes and that sort of thing aren’t good. There’s some stuff you can put in drinks to make them thicker, which makes them easier to swallow. He tried it a while back and didn’t like it, but compared with a stomach tube, it might seem more attractive.
Anyway, I hope they don’t keep him off food for too long, because it can be tricky getting started again.

@peemee Yes, I didn’t really mean a literal season. Even apart from being out of sync, your weather isn’t the same as ours. How cold is your winter?
@peemee Ugh. Must be the season for chest infections. My father is having antibiotics for one too. Hope you feel better soon.
@kdfrawg This was cooked in the oven. It’s not quite as good as the flying saucer, but that only does one at a time, which is inconvenient when you want to make more than one or two.
