@hazardwarning Well, there’s ignoring it. My problem with Christmas has generally been having to spend it doing things I don’t want to do, and eating (usually cooking as well) things I’m not interested in. I think I once managed to spend the day on my own.

@phoneboy Yes, even people who have some good information tend towards evangelical zeal for their own favourite approach, so they downplay any difficulties and trash anybody who favours something even slightly different. And, of course, if it didn’t work for you, it’s because you cheated.
