@ukhaiku Oh yes, I remember seeing his puppy pictures. It’s been a while since Bembo had a bath, so he was probably due one anyway. There’s been a fair, and they’re just clearing up, so I was a bit worried that the oily stuff might be toxic (apart from not wanting it all over the carpets & furniture).

@JeremyCherfas It does a bit better than most towns of its size because of tourism and the university, but I’d say way too provincial for @jextxadore. He’d be frustrated by the lack of new restaurants to try after the first week or so.
Hmmm. My father’s ISP sent him a message explaining that in order to improve the service they provide, they’re discontinuing his email address. They didn’t suggest any way to inform them of an alternative address, so after they’ve cut him off, they’ll have to start sending messages by post. Great idea!
