We still have some left. It sounds as if waiting till the new year would be safest to be late enough without getting caught up in Christmas.

There was a decent amount of oil in the dough. Too much heat is probably the issue. I used our little flying saucer pizza oven.

A couple of questions for if that’s ok?

  1. I made some flatbreads with meat on last night. A Paula Wolfert recipe. She says they roll them up to eat them, but mine came out quite crisp. What factors affect the floppiness of flatbread?

  2. When does the new season olive oil become available? I want to buy some new olive oil, but at this time of year, it seems to make sense to hang on and increase the odds of getting the new stuff.

At least they seem to move out of the way if you start typing. Still, it would be nice to lose them altogether. Especially since it’s not at all clear how they work.
