Same here. I download the .ascm file or the Kindle book. If it’s ascm, Hazel opens it in ADE & that downloads the epub. Then the book is opened in Calibre, sanitised, converted to epub if necessary, then a copy put in the iBooks library. Every so often, I connect the Kobo & copy any new stuff onto it.

Hazel does it.

It’s the only way.

@kdfrawg I tried fairly hard to buy from them. They made it virtually impossible. That’s not a great way to succeed in business.

// @skematica

@kdfrawg It’s rare to encounter anyone who even considers any other.

// @skematica

@kdfrawg That one seemed relatively user-friendly.

// @skematica

@kdfrawg I’ve seen some that can be copied freely but incorporate the purchaser’s email address.

// @skematica

I do too.

I like to do my bit to break the Amazon monopoly, but can’t be bothered to hunt round for someone else. Also, I hadn’t heard of the Kobo issues.

// @skematica @kdfrawg

I haven't had any problems with it.
