@kdfrawg That was so long ago!

@kdfrawg Maybe the fact that threads stay around longer gives people time to think about it. With this sort of format, you see something, take a bit of time to consider, and then the moment’s passed.

@kdfrawg I suppose it requires less effort. And maybe feels lighter, more casual. A blog post is more like an essay or a speech, so responding feels more formal.

Post a photo of your cat?

I hope she feels better soon. We used to let Bembo chew empty water bottles, but had to stop when he got a bit older, because he started shredding them into bite-sized bits of plastic.

Do you know what started it?

Poor puppy.

My delivery people have been fine, but they always seem to turn up when I’m walking Bembo and only send the email 10 minutes before they arrive.

The driver was explaining it to me last time. Apparently Amazon pays the usual peanuts that casual workers get, while giving them more stuff to deliver than can possibly be done in a day. Yay, capitalism. So that's why the service is useless, but at least it’s cheap, so never mind if it’s exploitative and ineffective.

@kdfrawg I just think it’s important to keep your chances of being right in perspective.
