@JeremyCherfas Typography was why he suggested it, I imagine, and why we liked it — as well as it sounding like a dog’s name. Times New Roman didn’t quite do it.

@hybotics Before we had even decided to get a dog, some friends were trying to talk us into it, and we gave them each a piece of paper and told them to write down three boy’s names and three girl’s names for a dog. As soon as we saw Bembo, we knew that if we ever got a dog, that had to be the name.
@kdfrawg There are a lot of different varieties too. The ones we have won’t ever grow that high! They’re acer palmatum something or others. The purple one is purple all year round.

@hazardwarning I did some Italian evening classes at the local college, and one of the teachers arranged a visit, because she came from that area. Otherwise I’ve only been to cities: Rome, Venice, Florence, Perugia. Lots more areas that I’d like to see!
