@kdfrawg I can feel a sort of vegan triffid book brewing.

@kdfrawg I saw a doctor, then a different one at the next visit, and finally my own GP. Then she passed me to the asthma nurse, and I saw her a couple of times. All this took six months or more, and then the nurse (who’d just pulled out a calculator to work out 10% of something) told me I didn’t have asthma and needed to go back to the GP and start again, but she could book me in for a cervical smear if I wanted.
I decided to live with being wheezy and gave up. It gradually improved and I don’t have any problems now, so I’m confident that was the right decision.

@literary It’s so easily done. A casual remark that I’d read a few books but couldn’t remember which were good and which weren’t. Mr I said I should take notes. I reviewed my stash to choose the most suitable format — and found I only had one of the chosen style, but I need at least two, to cover different fields. So. More notebooks on the way, but I still haven’t actually made any notes. At least I didn’t order a new pen.
@hazardwarning I can see a monthly prescription when you give something for the first time, but for long term requirements for things that aren’t very variable, it sounds like a waste of everybody’s time.
@hazardwarning I bought one of those when they told me I had asthma. As soon as I’d bought it, they said I didn’t have asthma after all, and I don’t think I used it even once.
