@hazardwarning I remember going to the freshers’ disco in 1979 (wearing a long tweed skirt and woolly tights) and deciding that at 18 I was old enough to stop pretending I liked discos. I never really heard any pop music after that, apart from the odd party I couldn’t get out of.
