@bazbt3 LOL How did you know I look like that?
@hybotics It’s not the actual painting, but getting caught up in the mechanics of which colours to put in the palette, how to get things out, use them & put them away without the housekeeping taking over from the painting, and without the dog eating anything toxic or treading indelible pawprints through the house. That kind of thing.
It seems to have been really hard to get paint on paper lately. I finally managed to make a start.
@kdfrawg I’m sure they’d bottle the Bath one if it were the least bit palatable. I’ve tasted it a couple of times. It’s not too horrible to swallow, but I don’t see it being a big hit.

@kdfrawg Nice to be able to drink a local one! The Bath spa water isn’t one you’d want to drink very much of.
// @jextxadore
@kdfrawg San Pellegrino and Badoit are the ones we usually have around. Badoit is probably too salty to work for you. I also like the very minerally Vichy ones, but they’re harder to get hold of here.

@hazardwarning I tend to do the smile without the hyphen, and it gets turned into the little yellow face with red cheeks.
// @matigo
@matigo Not at all bad. :) (And please can I have text emoticons that don’t turn into pictures?)
// @hazardwarning
@hazardwarning No alarm here, but a dog who has had his sleep and thinks it’s time to get up (and who, having got everyone up, curls up on the settee and goes back to sleep).
Anyway, the park was practically empty and we had hot cross buns for breakfast so it wasn’t all bad.
@kdfrawg I agree that Fentiman’s is good, but I don’t really drink soft drinks apart from fizzy water, and a little tonic, so I don’t really have occasion to buy them except when we have children visiting & can’t bear to buy Pepsi or Coca Cola for them.
