@kdfrawg I haven’t tried the new one. I had the old one from a while ago.
@kdfrawg “Everything” is only the subset you feed to it, but even that may be too much.
@kdfrawg An actuarial friend once pointed out that unless you buy your ticket within half an hour of the draw, your chances of dying before it are higher than your chances of winning. Since the most likely outcome is neither of the above, I think I’ll hang on to my money.
Next job, I suppose, is to export all the articles I’ve collected in Keep Everything. I’d happily keep using it, but there hasn’t been much activity for a while, so it seems safer not to leave too much stuff in there.
Exported all the bits and bobs I had in Things. I don’t need a todo app. For anything I want, a list in a text file or Apple Notes is fine. Things is a really nice app, but that’s too much money for something I don’t need.
@matigo There just isn’t enough of it to go round on crowded islands.
// @larand
@matigo I put that in as a price limit in the area we’re looking at — rural, not within commuter range for anywhere major — 11 properties came up; all either retirement apartments or caravans (intended for holidays not for permanent occupation). There was a 40% share of a two bedroom house as well. (Without the price limit, there were 497 properties in the area.)
