Wow.

He managed to get away without it for most of the day, but he always gets a bit restless in the evening, so I had to put it on at about 8:30 pm.

//

Maybe I’ll try that one next time we’re at my mother’s (that tends to be when we buy Waitrose coffee).

//

That thought passed through my mind.

//

Does that need lots of pencils?

//

It’s amazing what dogs will tolerate without giving any indication that there’s anything wrong!

//

They think it’s probably a grass seed or some such thing.

//

A few days, but he doesn’t seem to be trying to lick the paw at the moment, so he doesn’t need the cone on when we’re free to keep an eye on him. We have to go back to the vet next week when the inflammation has gone down, and they’ll be able to check if there’s anything embedded in the paw.

//

I wonder if it’s his shame or ours.

//

We bought it when he was neutered. The vet-issued ones are hard plastic. This one is supposed to be more comfortable — but he still hates it.
