@kdfrawg Pretty much antisocial all round.
@kdfrawg I don’t know if you’ve encountered those little disposable barbecue trays? They’re a menace in the park. There are tables with metal areas for them, but people just put them on the grass and burn holes in it. The whole place turns into a big cloud of smoke on a sunny day, and the smell drives B wild. He wants to run off and help himself to the meat straight from the floor level burning charcoal!
@kdfrawg I think that’s common among dogs. He emerged from an exploration of the bushes in the park proudly carrying half a baguette the other day.
@kdfrawg He went with me on the one occasion I was there (a former work colleague texted to say he was there if I fancied meeting up). I think he’d prefer it a bit quieter. And with more food (I think they serve some food, but I didn’t have any).
@kdfrawg I only went there once, on a Saturday afternoon. It might be quieter mid-week.
@kdfrawg We’ll have a good range of food and drink on our 10C island.

@kdfrawg The places I see craft beer tend to be cafés or stalls at the farmers’ market. There’s a coffee place in town that does specialist coffees and craft beers. They even let dogs in. That would be a good place to try some. They even sell ⅓ pint glasses (our pints are 20 fl oz). It’s always a bit crowded and noisy though.
