@hazardwarning Online forms are a bit beyond the NHS, it seems. They email you a .doc form that you’re supposed to print out and take along to the meeting.
@hazardwarning lol. For a meeting next week on my father’s care, I have to fill in a form full of questions like, ”What are my future goals?“ He can’t even blink.
@kdfrawg One of the important things is that they’ll decide whether the NHS will pay for the care. If it’s “just” age, then it’s Social Services, not NHS and is means tested, which basically means you pay until you run out of money, then the state takes over. If it’s an illness that requires ongoing medical treatment, then the NHS will pay, and it isn’t means tested.
It looks as if I’m heading north again soon. There’s a meeting of all the health care people on Tuesday to talk about my father.
