@kdfrawg I’ll just have to concentrate on arguing that they didn’t follow their own guidelines in the assessment for NHS funding. The information is all about care for the patient, but the practice is all about each department making sure it doesn’t land on their budget.

The social services financial adviser tells me that no, there is no detailed information available on how contributions to care home fees are determined. Open government, yay.
@kdfrawg Probably not. Anyway, I managed to get the repair visit booked using their chat facility. Not quite as convenient as the online booking would have been, but a lot less painful than ringing the call centre.
BT online: The fault’s in your house, you need to phone and book someone to come out and fix it.
BT on the phone: stay on hold for ages, answer a zillion daft questions… the fault isn’t in your house, we’ll fix it.
