I usually use the iPad in a fairly casual position so I only unfold the keyboard if I have more than a line or two to type.

I set it to allow same domain referrer info & now it works.

I haven’t found a good way to allow the cookies I want, block those I don’t want, and clean up the baddies that sneak through without wiping the ones I’m using.

Maybe it needs third party cookies or referrer info or something. I hate cookies.

That’s odd. I deleted all the cookies in iCab on the iPad and now I can’t log in again. I’m entering my info with 1Password and it works fine in the 1Password browser, but not in iCab. Ugh.

I suppose some people use landscape routinely, but I only use it for typing or for something that demands it, like a photo in tnat orientation.

//

The main things I want to see are the message I’m typing and the one I’m replying to. A sidebar with menu stuff would be ok as a filler if the message window looks too ugly at that width, but it offsets the part of the screen I’m actually using to one side, so I don’t especially like it when that happens.

//

If I’ve turned my iPad into landscape to be able to use the keyboard, I don’t necessarily want all the discovery stuff turning up.

I haven’t really heard any pop music since a summer job in a factory in 1977.

I looked it up on youtube. Not sure if it’s familiar, or just sounds like other things I’ve heard.
