Was it the broadband speed that wasn’t what it should have been?

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg Yikes. That’s a lot of extra hotness!

@kdfrawg It didn’t come apart, just rusted, so they had to weld reinforcements on all the time. It probably didn’t help that the car (a hand-me-down from my mother) spent its early life in a salt mining area where they scatter the stuff all over the roads as if it were going out of fashion every winter.

//

@kdfrawg The choke cable used to catch, so I had to stop at a lay-by about three miles from home, pop the bonnet open, and free the cable.

//

@kdfrawg Till I gave up on getting the sub-frame re-welded every year at MOT time.

//

@kdfrawg I had to put in a litre of oil for every tankful of petrol, and it wasn’t a big tank.

@kdfrawg My first car was a Mini. The new ones are nothing to do with the original, just using the name for marketing.

I tried it, but without a Mac app it wasn’t any use to me.

And our visitors didn’t leave till noon, so I was a bit preoccupied.

That, and I’m not much into cake, so skipped over the details.
