@kdfrawg Weirdly, my mother has been invited for a jab this year, but not my father, and not their neighbour & friend who’s the same age & had a big chunk of her lung removed a few years ago.
They’re all in the eligible age group, but the only one who got the invitation was the fittest of them all. They’re all registered with the same GP practice.

@larand I’m not sure if diabetics qualify in the NHS:
The injected flu vaccine is offered free on the NHS annually to:
- adults over the age of 18 at risk of flu (including everyone aged 65 and over)
- pregnant women
- children aged six months to two years at risk of flu
Some workplaces provide them for employees & you can get one at some pharmacies & supermarkets, I think. I don’t know how much it costs.

It turns out I currently have seven paper books on my sofa. Plus a few notebooks/sketchbooks. Dead trees haven’t given up yet!
@kdfrawg I’m finding a bit of an emotional draw towards paper at the moment, but the shelves are overflowing, so I have to save it for special occasions.
