@kdfrawg The thing is that some things don’t scale well. I used three sheets today, 22” x 30”, one on heavier paper and two on lighter, but you can’t necessarily do the same thing on sheets of A4, or on paper with a different surface. Sometimes you just have to use some paper up.

I suppose that if I didn’t have the big sheets, I’d just do something different with whatever paper I could manage.

@kdfrawg Except that Mr I’s absence was work related, so helps to keep the paper fund topped up.

Another sheet of paper bites the dust.

@kdfrawg I’ve unearthed the notebook. Now what happens?

//

You just made me realise I used something like £20 of paper today (that’s not typical — it’s because Mr I and Bembo were out, so I had the house to myself for a few hours.

// @kdfrawg

That does sound expensive! Is it the paper or the monogram that costs so much?

// @kdfrawg

I hadn’t realised that.

// @kdfrawg

Apparently foreign notebooks are more inspiring than home grown ones!

// @kdfrawg

Yes. I have a notebook I bought in France that has pages of different kinds of paper. That might be fun to use. One of the types of paper is very fibrous. I’ll need to find out what sort of pen will play nicely with it.
