@jws Short of complicated tree views, I thought what Felix did worked quite well. One swipe went to a chronological thread view with the post that the one you swiped was replying to highlighted — and visible, but I can’t remember if it was top or centre. You could just keep swiping to follow further back, each time seeing what the post you swiped was replying to.

@kdfrawg Macchiato does have a conversation view, but it doesn’t highlight the individual post that’s being replied to. Just shows the whole thread. For some conversations that’s fine, but there are others where you need to see the detail to follow it.
