@kdfrawg I do that as long as it’s mild. When it becomes a nuisance, I take antihistamines. Today I added in eye drops.

//

@kdfrawg Pretty much. Except you’re still alive to read it.

@kdfrawg Autumn is usually less bothersome than spring, but there have been one or two worse ones. I don’t know if there were more spores about in those years, or I was more reactive. Are you able to take anything to calm your allergies?

My phone woke me up in the middle of the night with a pollen alert. Ack. Turned sound off for that app’s notifications now. I don’t usually let apps have sounds, but occasionally one slips through. (By sound, I mean a little buzz, because the phone’s set to silent but allowed to vibrate.)

Pollen alerts are a bit odd. If my eyes are streaming and itchy and I’m snuffly & headachy, the alert is of limited use.

@kdfrawg I was just basing it on when it started and the Met Office chart of when pollen peaks for each species, so it could well be something else. Or more than one.

//

@kdfrawg Me too, I think. And depending on the weather, sometimes I get another round when the spores pop out in the autumn.

//

Looking at the timing, I suspect birch.

If not, you need a new roommate!

Yum!

It’s tree pollen season. It’s not incapacitating, but makes my eyes sore, my head ache & just makes me feel tired all the time. I can’t remember when it ends!
