There’s a brown SWD near us. People who’ve met it ask us if that’s what Bembo is. They look very alike, though the SWD has crinklier fur, and is only five months old, so they won’t be the same size for much longer.
@kdfrawg Yes. Anyway, it’s supposed to rain in the night, so I closed the windows. That helps a bit.

@joanna Oh, that’s a nuisance! The noise here is from some nearby bar or bars. There’s nothing untoward going on, just people doing the sort of noisy stuff people like to do. Because it’s warm, they’re doing it outside, and because I have the windows open, the noise is invading the house. With all the tall buildings, the noise just rattles round and round.

There’s a horrible din going on outside. I hope they’re going to stop soon so we can get some sleep — lots of shouting & very loud music.
