@kdfrawg Even if I don’t move to any of these places, I’m lucky to have the option. Many are already struggling & just watching as things get harder because a few politicians aren’t prepared to make the decisions that need to be made.

@kdfrawg I haven’t really been there. Mostly I’ve been to Normandy, Paris & the Narbonne/Perpignan area touching the Mediterranean & the Pyrenees. I’d go for the coast more than the mountains though.

@kdfrawg I tend to look more at the west coast. Not sure why.

@kdfrawg I was looking at Brittany, but I wondered if a region with its own wine would make more sense.

@kdfrawg I had to go to a work meeting at a Welsh power station once & even the engineers did it to me until the meeting started, then they all went back to English.

//

@kdfrawg Tallisker, I think.

//

@kdfrawg That’s because they switch into Welsh whenever they see a stranger.

//

@kdfrawg I was looking at somewhere on Skye that was quite close to one of the distilleries.

//

And it’s quite a long way to the tunnel. Or, indeed, the nearest shop.

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg Yes, well, I might just stay there if I liked it. I did when I visited, but I was only 8. Some of the houses are quite big. They could be orphanages.
