So now our postman rings the doorbell and tells us there’s no post for us today, but he’s brought some biscuits for Bembo!
@hazardwarning We know one about the same age as Bembo. They played together as puppies. The mini schnauzer still wants to play, but Bembo’s a bit nervous of him because their play style is a bit more robust than his.

@hazardwarning The main problem with ours at the moment is that it doesn’t work at all most of the time. Luckily the phone’s affected too, so we can deal with BT directly instead of going through the ISP. They hope to have it fixed by the end of Monday. Why does this stuff always happen on Fridays?
I’m trying to deal with my parents’s finances (phone calls and online banking), a couple of plumbers, and find out why my father hasn’t been allocated a social worker now since he left hospital. With an internet connection that doesn’t hold for more than two minutes at a time, and a mobile phone that keeps cutting out mid-call. Yay.
Still, I get to deal with all the parental stuff because my brother’s taking his wife to chemo, so a few administrative headaches aren’t the worst thing to have to handle.

@joanna No. The line was completely down a week or two ago & they fixed it, but since then it’s not only slow, but completely disconnecting intermittently. It’s been getting worse, so we’ll have to report it again.
