@matigo My seven year old MBP didn’t like High Sierra — but that might be the 3rd party SSD I installed. The main potentially life-limiting factor at the moment is that the battery is deteriorating and Apple don’t support the hardware any more.

@jextxadore We’re actually dryish at the moment, but if we could arrange rain for weekend nights, that would be good.
@jextxadore At least they mostly stop by 11, but I really don’t think they should be allowed to leak noise anything like as much as they do. In high density areas, they’re being a nuisance to a lot more people than they’re serving.
@jextxadore For most of last evening our house was invaded by the loud music from a nearby bar. People are very inconsiderate with their noises.
@kdfrawg I try to stay away from such things. I know Raid was talked about when we were getting our NAS, but I can’t remember if that’s what we ended up with. We have a mixed OS network. I’ll ask him.
