@kdfrawg The other day I had a nasty moment of thinking my eyes had suddenly got worse, then I realised I was wearing an old pair of reading glasses, so the deterioration wasn’t as drastic as I’d feared. After having pretty good eyesight all my life, I must admit I find it very frustrating not being able to read without glasses and good light.

@kdfrawg I’m sure that’s it. They do affect muscles and joints, so with an already fragile starting point, the effect just gets amplified.

Unless the tech companies carry on getting ever more creepy and I retreat to pen, paper, and the post.

@kdfrawg Thanks. I suppose a combination of Apple’s decisions and old eyes will force me to a bigger phone one day.

@kdfrawg I saw you said it was a cold. Glad it’s nothing more sinister, but they can still make you feel awful.

Is it closer to the 7 or the plus in size?

Shiny!

I had to turn the wifi off on my Kobo because of that. Why on earth would I want to tell someone which books I read and when? I just put books on it by wire from Calibre.

I think I get that. I’ve only ever tested my blood glucose a handful of times, but had a few readings in the 60s. Of course, if you’re taking drugs to lower your BG, then you can probably stop the hypos by stopping or reducing them.

Why?
