It does look interesting. Thanks.

Just about to take Bembo out for lunch to celebrate his third birthday.

I just want Adobe to maintain Lightroom as a standalone purchase. We may not get what we want.

It seems there are some out there: http://www.toptenreviews.com/software/multimedia/best-photo-manager-software/

I tried ACDSee once and got inundated by marketing emails. There was no way to unsubscribe that actually worked, so I ended up setting up a rule on my email account to delete everything from them.

Apparently it is. I use Lightroom, though I don’t do much image editing — I mainly use it as a catalogue. Now that Adobe has decided to move over to subscription for everything, I’m looking for alternatives too. I suppose it doesn’t matter until I get a camera or OS that breaks the version I have now.

Capture One looks nice, but it’s not cheap.

@kdfrawg It needs to be at least a month.

I don’t know if you’re interested, but nbtea.co.uk are doing some discounts this week to celebrate their birthday.

It should be part of the deal that you get to live in the apartments for a while so you can get a good feel for them!

I have the middle level one: DEVONthink Pro. They do have promotions from time to time (you probably just missed a Black Friday one, but they might do a Christmas one).
