@kdfrawg One of mine died many years before I was born, but I had three grandparents until my late 30s, and have very good memories of them all. Grandparents are easier than parents. You don’t have to live with them; taking care of their old age isn’t your responsibility; and for me, their deaths seemed normal and not excessively painful.
