@kdfrawg You’d think so. Maybe they don’t work for Amazon every day or something. One time we got a “tried to deliver” email when they hadn’t and they turned up at 8 or 9 in the evening of the same day. Anyway, Amazon treat the drivers badly and provide a rubbish service, so even if the on line part takes a bit more effort, I can generally get a better overall deal by buying from someone else.
When one of the newspapers writes an article about how badly the drivers are paid and all the rest of it, Amazon just say that it’s sub-contracted and nothing to do with them, which is pretty shoddy. A company that size can demand decent working conditions for sub-contractors if they want to.
