@c I had to walk past the independent Apple repair place on my way back, and they can’t get the batteries any more either, but said that if necessary you can just remove the battery and use the MBP plugged in all the time. That wouldn’t be a problem for me, so I’ll let this one struggle on a bit longer, and just do without a battery when it finally dies.
