@kdfrawg I think it’s the processor. We tried all the turning off and on again stuff before embarking on the plumber hunt. It needs to be less clever, and have a manual mode.

//

@kdfrawg This is an old one, so it’s more the knocked about look. Chipped paint. That sort of thing.

@kdfrawg I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the boiler. It’s just that the controller has stopped telling it to send heat to the radiators.

//

@kdfrawg It was a bit scruffy, but I don’t mind scruffy. Might have to keep it out of Mr I’s way though. He’s less keen on shabbiness.

@kdfrawg Broadly, but higher than it was wide, and the thickness of the drawers was graded, so the bottom ones were deeper than the top ones. I should have taken a photo.

@kdfrawg I might go back to the first one I rang. They had someone in the office to answer the phone, and returned the call when they said they would. Only they said they couldn’t do anything for a week or two, so I went with the one who said he’d call round in a couple of hours.

//

@kdfrawg Exactly.

@kdfrawg Or they just focus on the actual plumbing part and ignore the rest.

I saw a cute little thing like a small map chest this morning. Lots of thin drawers. A couple of feet high. I’m wondering about getting it to keep some of my art clutter in. The bottom drawers were a little bit taller, and would do for bottles of ink and the like. The thin ones would hold pens, brushes, tubes of paint, sketchpads &c

@kdfrawg Exactly. Even a response to say he was awfully busy but would respond on such and such a day would work.
