@kdfrawg They’re probably more trainable too.

//

@kdfrawg I’ve never invited a PM home, and although I did go to the same college as our last one, I was there first!

Yes, size makes a difference. And boxers can look a bit scary too, if you’re not a dog person. I met an amorous retriever one day. I’m not that big, and a dog that size persistantly clinging on and trying to hump my leg, was a bit of a nuisance.

// @kdfrawg

@kdfrawg Well, no, you wouldn’t want to share your house with a prime minister. We do have some household standards!

//

@kdfrawg No, it’s a shame when dogs aren’t allowed to be dogs.

//

@kdfrawg That works when he’s with us, or not too distracted, but if he’s a few hundred yards away, and spots one of his favourite people, he can get a few jumps in before we get within range. He does that VTOL thing.

@skematica The garlic is in the hummus. The sausages didn’t have any discernible spicing beyond a little salt.

@kdfrawg They were.

We still struggle with that. He’s got better with strangers, but still jumps at people he’s known for a long time, or people who put their hands in their pockets as if to bring out treats or toys, or people who wave things around, like those throwing sticks, or… maybe when he’s old and arthritic he’ll stop jumping.
