I already have too many places to check. I’ll wait for to migrate us.

Not really, because tyres aren’t generally made by the car manufacturer. I just get the impression that sizes change a bit with time. The local place only had a pair of budget tyres in stock, and if we want better ones, we have to wait a few days for them to get hold of them. I don’t remember having to wait before. When I asked for the size we needed, they sounded surprised that it was a 16” tyre, not 17” (odd that they’re still in inches).

I had a flat the other day, so the car is currently fitted with the temporary spare. It wouldn’t normally be a problem, because we go weeks at a time without using the car, but my brother’s wife is in the end stages of cancer, so we might want to head off up the motorway at short notice.

I’m finding some of the drawbacks of having a 20 year old car. We’ll have to pay £9 every day that it leaves its garage when they introduce the clean air measures; and it’s hard to find tyres to fit. I had a puncture the other day and am now waiting for the tyre place to get hold of some replacements.

I drop in sometimes. :)

I hope it heals quickly.

It’s a luxury in as much as it’s expensive and unnecessary.

Oh, I missed this. What’s the matter with her?

Oh dear. My car can only play cassettes.

Every time I open Pages or Numbers, it tells me there’s an update, and that I need to update my OS first, but I’m on the most recent OS that my hardware will support.

They look fun.
