I have seen little evidence of any kind of awareness.

Yay, Social Services! When I filled in the assessment paperwork for my father, there was a tick box asking if they should communicate by secure email — which they recommended. Got a phone call today from the person who’s dealing with it. She can’t do secure email. Is normal ok? The NHS on the other hand think email is too insecure to use at all and will only deal with pieces of paper.

What a system.

Most of the main manufacturers do an “Indigo” but they are usually a blend to achieve that colour. The original indigo is a plant dye — as used for blue jeans. I quite like the Winsor & Newton Indigo — in fact, I picked the name because I happened to have a tube of it next to me when I was signing up for ADN and needed to pick a user name. I only bought the “Indigo genuine” later, just to play.

I bought a little tub of it, but I don’t use it often because it fades so fast.

Argh. I hope they’re sitting at the other end of the plane!

@kdfrawg Oh good — that she’s getting better.

@kdfrawg I think not.

//

@kdfrawg It didn’t really matter except that she used to send cheques for birthdays and I had to persuade the bank to let me pay them in even though it wasn’t my name.

//

@kdfrawg That would be a nice thing for us all to have, wouldn’t it? (Apart from axe-murderers and the like.)

//

You’re not helping!
